Today, Friday 20th December, our very own RWM Graeme Wallace, accompanied by the WSW Brian McClure, presented a cheque for £250 to the Greenock Morton Community Trust.
This will be put towards their Festive Friends Christmas Dinner, being held at Cappielow Park on Christmas Day.
This initiative is now in it's fourth year to provide a meaningful Christmas dinner to Inverclyde's most vulnerable people. Volunteers from the club, along with supporters will serve Christmas dinner to over 70, vulnerable, lonely or homeless people of Inverclyde. Entertainment will also be provided along with companionship and support at a time of year when some can feel the most vulnerable.
This year the event will also be supported by Compassionate Inverclyde, River Clyde Homes and Amazon.
